To come to Orélans, generally, you have to come through Paris according to your starting point.
The easiest way is to take the TRAIN at the Gare d'Austerlitz; there is practically one at every hour and sometimes 2 or more trains per hour (NB: there is a hole to avoid between 12h and 15h, see the site of the SNCF); get off at Gare d'Orléans (possibility to get off at Aubrais train station). After, it is at 13mn on foot (think to print the route) or in 10mn by tram (take the line A until the station De Gaulle, Direction Hôpital de la Source then to take the Line B direction Clos du Hameau and get off at the Hôtel de Ville station and you will find the Hotel Dupanloup (International University Center for Research) 150 meters behind the Cathedral, left side).
